To our Straight Down family:
I just wanted to simply say, ‘Thank you.’ Thank you for your belief in what we do, your loyalty to our company and your support as we continue on our mission to create clothes that enhance your enjoyment of the outdoors and the games you love.
This has been an exciting year full of growth and I’m grateful that you have been a part of it. We continue to create bold pieces that express a vibrant, fun-loving spirit while also expanding our made in USA lines.
This is an exciting time for our company. But even as we grow, we will be guided by the same core values: hard work, honesty and accountability. Those values are cornerstones of the game of golf and our company, as well.
I love what I do. I believe that clothes can have an impact, and I love creating pieces that express enthusiasm for golf, and for life. But, most importantly, I love the people that this job introduces me to. And I’m thankful for the opportunity I’ve had in the past year to spend time with so many of you.
This is a time to express gratitude and be with the ones you love. I just wanted to take this moment to say ‘Thank you’ to each member of Straight Down’s extended family. I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Sincerely,
Mike Rowley

Just saw your ad in Arizona and wondered If this was the same company from SLO. We lived there 50 years and just moved to AZ. Loved to see your company is doing so well! Congratulations
Haha. Saw the ad and I told my wife I used to play water polo with that guy at Cuesta. Great to see your success Mike.
Saw your ad on the TV. awesome that you grew the business to what it is today. I used to manage Woodstock’s on Court Street and you and Jim were just starting in an upstairs office of the Assembly Line. I traded quite a few pizzas with you for t-shirts and shorts when neon was the “thing”. I also remember your wife Debbie when she had the shop by the Fremont Theater. A great trip down memory lane for me. Nice to see a SLO guy make it big. Congratulations!
I still have one of your wild prints from the first editions – Kind of a wild stormy looking shirt with small gold suns printed on it. Cant remember if I got it personally from you or at Copeland’s when you first got in. I’m rooting for your continued success.
